The Cuddleuppets concept is a simple one that builds off the Pillow Pets and Happy Nappers idea. Instead of being a stuffed animal that converts into a pillow these are blankets that are also puppets. The Puppet head is a large soft stuffed animal while the body is the blanket with hands, feet, paws, being the corners of the blanket. The blanket itself measures 39 inches long by 28 inches wide so it is big enough to cover most kids and small enough to carry just about anywhere.CuddleUppets can be found being advertised on just about any children's TV show. My daughter is already asking me to get her he Pink poodle for her birthday. She is a big Happy Napper and Pillow Pet fan with quite a collection and it looks like CuddleUppets are next on the hit parade for her.

Where some people get very defensive about these and Happy Nappers being a Pillow Pet rip off I disagree. Although the idea is similar they are two different products and many kids have both. It amazes me how people, who do not have a stake in either company, will get so crazy over this one is better or that one is a rip off of this one. The same is already happening with CuddleUppets. People are comparing them to Pillow Pets and even Happy Nappers. Funny thing is they are made by the same people who make Happy Nappers.

CuddleUppets could very well be the next big children's toy hit. They are fairly new and many kids already have the jingle memorized, including my daughter who sings it whenever the commercial comes on. The concept, in my opinion, is a good one. The CuddleUppet is a great little travel blanket, perfect for car rides, plane rides or even just hanging out on the couch. It also inspires some imagination being a puppet. Kids can put on their own puppet shows or pretend to have their CuddleUppets join in various activities. Kids will love playing with their puppets during the day and snuggling up to a warm blanket buddy by night.
